Acer has announced three new desktop PC, the ASM5800, ASM3202, and ASX5810 to be released on August 7th. Let’s make a comparison of these three models.

The Acer ASM5800 is powered by Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU with RAM up to 8GB and SATA hard drive up to 1TB. It comes with an ATI Radeon HD 4650 (1GB of VRAM) GPU or an Nvidia GeForce GT 230 (1.5GB of VRAM), a Blu-ray disc drive, Gigabit ethernet, HDMI output, and 10 USB 2.0 ports. The ASM3202 is powered by AMD Phenom II x4 925 CPU with up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM and up to 750GB of SATA hard drive. Other features include an ATI Radeon HD 3200, and a DVD supermulti drive. The Acer ASX5810 is powered by offers up a Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. Other features include a bundled 20-inch LCD with a resolution of 1600×900, an Intel G43 Express chipset, an Nvidia GeForce GT 120 (1GB of VRAM), a DVD supermulti drive, eSATA port, a DVI-I port, HDMI output, a Gigabit Ethernet, and 9 USB ports.

The Acer ASM5800, ASM3202 and ASX5810 will be available for 139,800 Yen ($1,462), 69,800 Yen ($730), and 129,800 Yen ($1357), respectively.
